Mock Meet

Saturday, May 14 at the City Pool from 7:30am-12:00pm

This is an important meet both for swimmers and parents.  Not only do we acquire times for the swimmers at this meet, but it also gives everyone the opportunity to see how a swim meet runs.  For those of you new to the team it is essential that you attend this meet.  Parents will be shown how easy it is to help out and swimmers will get a feel for the competitive side of swimming.

What to do when you arrive

When you arrive immediately check in.  This will insure that the swimmer knows what events he/she are swimming and that he/she not get "Scratched" from the meet.  Patents should also check in and verify where you plan to help.  There will be a designated spot for signing in at each meet.
Warm ups for the mock meet will start at 8:00.  Warm up times vary between home and away meets so make sure you check those times weekly.

Don't miss your events!  Swimmers need to listen for their events to be called.  Events are called and lined up at the ready bench about 5 events at a time.  To avoid being scratched swimmers must report to the ready bench when called.
