What is the Livingston Sea Lion Swim Team?
The Livingston Sea Lions are a youth swim team affiliated with NWAL. Members range in age from 4 to 18. We begin practicing at the Livingston City Pool at the end of April. Starting in mid-May, we compete each Saturday with teams from the Humble area. Swimmers compete within their age and gender swimming in individual and relay events; swimming 4 strokes...Breast stroke, Back stroke, Butterfly and Freestyle. Swimmers not familiar with these strokes will learn and practice them as the season progresses.
The Livingston Sea Lions are not swim lessons. Those seeking swim lessons should contact the city parks department @ 936.327.5242
Is the swim team for you?
Do you love the water? Are you between the ages of 4 and 18*? Do you enjoy friendly competition? Then the swim team is right for you!
*Must be this age by May 31
What will you need?
We have a team swim suit, which is available exclusively at Backyard Oasis. (Same as last year)
You may however wear any suit as long as it is one-piece. Boys suits are also available at Backyard Oasis.
Goggles are a must
Swim caps are recommended for girls
